Material Structure Guidance

For tea packaging, common material structures include:
PET / PEPET / VMPET / PEPET / AL / PEKraft / PET / PEKraft / PET / VMPET / PE
Simple dry tea packaging can use PET / PE. For better moisture and aroma protection, PET / VMPET / PE is more common. If the tea needs stronger light and oxygen protection, PET / AL / PE can be considered.
Kraft paper structures are often used for natural-style tea brands, but the inside still needs a heat-sealable layer.
If you want a clear window, the window area needs transparent film. If you want stronger light protection, the window should be smaller or removed.


Thickness Guidance

For tea pouches, common total thickness is usually:
120–150 microns
For 100g–250g tea packaging, 120–140 microns is often used as a reference.
For larger tea packs, export shipping, or stronger barrier needs, we may suggest around:
140–160 microns
The final thickness depends on tea type, pouch size, leaf volume, zipper position, window design, and storage condition.
