For rice, grains, and spices, a common structure is:

Recommended structure:
PET12 / VMPET12 / PE100
  • PET outer layer: good for printing and surface appearance
  • VMPET middle layer: helps with moisture barrier and aroma protection
  • PE inner layer: helps with heat sealing and food contact safety
For normal rice or grains, this structure is usually enough. For strong-smell spices or longer shelf-life needs, we can help check if a stronger barrier structure is needed.

For 250g–2kg dry food packaging, the common thickness range is:
120–160 microns
Smaller packs can use a lighter structure. For 1kg–2kg rice or bean packaging, we suggest stronger sealing and enough bottom support.
